Harlan County receives state money to fix flooding problem on road

HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Harlan County is receiving money from the state to fix a stretch of busy road that has chronic flooding problems.

It was announced Thursday, the county will receive $802,000 to reconstruct a half-mile stretch of U.S. 421 that has flooding problems.

People who live in the affected area have been waiting on this project for more than 10-years.
