Lexington police searching for missing man

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing Lexington man, Kenneth Higgins, who was last seen on May 18, 2024, around 9:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of Firethorn Place.

Higgins, 32, is described as approximately 6’0” tall, weighing around 300 pounds, with brown eyes and grayish/black hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black sweatpants, and black slides with black socks.

Authorities are particularly concerned for Higgins’ safety due to his mental health condition, and it is believed that he is traveling on foot.

Anyone with information on Kenneth Higgins’ whereabouts is urged to contact 911 immediately.
