Kentucky Blood Center giving away Kings Island tickets following donations

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) -The Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) is offering an extra incentive to encourage more people to donate blood.

KBC says they are currently running low on their supply of type O- blood, which is crucial for use when a patient’s blood type is not known.

To address this shortage, KBC is giving anyone who donates blood Monday and Tuesday, regardless of blood type, a one-day general admission ticket to Kings Island, valid for any day this summer.
