Kentucky Baseball wins regular season SEC title

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – No. 2 Kentucky claimed its second Southeastern Conference regular season championship with a dominating 17-7 run-rule victory over Vanderbilt at Kentucky Proud Park on Friday night.

Kentucky shared a regular season SEC title with Alabama back in 2006.

The wildcats now have 22 SEC wins; which is the most SEC regular season wins in program history.

Kentucky has one more game against Vanderbilt on Sunday at noon before they head to the SEC tournament next week.
