Local restaurant warns of dashers
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) -Mama Tequila’s, a local restaurant, is urging fellow establishments to remain vigilant following an unfortunate incident where a party dined and dashed.
They posted surveillance video on their social media account, showing the party allegedly leaving the restaurant without paying.
According to Mama Tequila’s, a group of 6 or 7 individuals celebrating a birthday left the restaurant before staff could sing “Happy Birthday.” The group left without settling a bill exceeding $200 for food and drinks.
The restaurant advises other businesses to stay on high alert.
