Eiffel Pizza is back – as a FOOD TRUCK – after having to close due to the COVID Pandemic

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – After a hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Eiffel Pizza, a beloved pizza place in Lexington, has made a comeback, albeit with a new twist. The restaurant, which closed its doors in February 2021 after six successful years, has re-emerged as a food trailer.

Formerly located in the 3000 block of Buckhorn Drive, Eiffel Pizza now roams the streets of Lexington, much to the delight of its fans who enjoy the thrill of tracking down their favorite pies each day.

Owner Mohamed Diop has ensured that the essence of Eiffel Pizza remains intact, bringing back many of the unique cuisines the restaurant was known for. This includes the crispy thin-crust pizza, brisket pizza, and wings that patrons have come to love.

Diop, who honed his cooking skills at an Italian pizza school in France, named the restaurant Eiffel Pizza in tribute to his training location. To keep up with the food truck’s daily location, customers can follow Eiffel Pizza on Instagram (@eiffel_pizza_fifteen).

The return of Eiffel Pizza adds a deliciously unique flavor to Lexington’s culinary landscape, one slice at a time.
