Drug trafficking suspect accused of child endangerment
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police accuse a man of endangering four young children by trafficking a powerful narcotic at a Lexington home.
Edward Cotton, 24, was arrested on Wednesday.
According to court documents, while searching Cotton’s home, police found a large quantity of press and powdered fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and a stolen gun.
Police also found four young children in the home.
Police say the children were at a substantial risk of serious injury or death by being exposed to the fentanyl.
Cotton is charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and receiving a stolen firearm.
