I64 shut down for a multi car incident

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. — Interstate 64 has resumed normal traffic flow after a significant collision caused a complete halt for several hours.

Authorities received reports of the crash near Mile Marker 61 around 9:20 Monday morning. The incident involved multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, two armored trucks, and two SUVs.

While injuries were reported, officials have not provided specific details regarding the nature of the injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported at this time.
