Coach Cal’s house up for sale in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – You could be the next owner of former UK Men’s Basketball Coach John Calipari’s house, which is now up for sale in Lexington.
Calipari and his wife, Ellen, have lived in the well-known home, located on Richmond Road in Lexington, since 2009.
According to the listing, the 9,615 square foot house has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
If you’re a UK Men’s Basketball fan, you might be familiar with some of the interior of the home, as it has been the scene of many events, including NCAA Tournament watch parties, as players gathered there to find out where they’d play.
The listing says the house sits on 1.2 acres, with a pool, in “the heart of Lexington.”
It sports a three-car garage, and, of course, a half-court basketball court.
Asking price? $3,990,000.
