Otega Oweh commits to Kentucky Basketball

Oweh transfers to Lexington from Oklahoma

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Another piece of Head Coach Mark Pope’s puzzle is into place as Otega Oweh is a Kentucky Wildcat.

Multiple reports stated that Oweh was on a visit to Lexington late this week and college basketball insider Dick Weiss tweeted that Oweh was “leaning towards Kentucky,” on Friday afternoon.

The Oklahoma transfer played in 32 games, averaged 11 points and three rebounds last season for the Sooners. Oweh plays as a guard and comes to the Wildcats as a junior, with two eligible seasons remaining.
