Winchester shelter needs help fixing air conditioner
WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Winchester Beacon of Hope Emergency Shelter says its air conditioning is broken.
Shelter staff posted on Facebook Friday night someone came to look at the unit for free, but the news was not good. The compressor is out and will cost $1,000 plus to fix.
The staff members say it has been very hot in the shelter, but everyone is “taking it in stride”.
