Jill Biden to speak to education leaders in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Dr. Jill Biden, wife of former Vice President Joe Biden, will be in Lexington next week.

Biden is scheduled to speak Tuesday, May 15 at the 2018 Rural College Access and Success Summit.

The Summit will bring together several hundred teachers, principals, superintendents, legislators, non-profit leaders and many others to share ideas and strategies for ensuring that rural youth have the opportunity to successfully transition from high school to college and to career.

Biden will talk about preparing students of all ages for college.

All sessions will be held at the Hilton Downtown, 369 West Vine Street.
