Man accused of forcing 3 people to withdraw money from ATM

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is accused of robbing five people and threatening a store clerk in Campbellsville.

Campbellsville Police say they received a call around 9:50 p.m. Thursday about three people who were held at knife point by a man near Campbellsville University and forced to withdraw funds from an ATM.

Shortly after that call, at around 9:55 p.m., they received another call about a man who threatened a clerk at Convenient on South Central Avenue with a knife then fled the store.

Police say they then received a call about two people who were robbed in the area of Kerr and Carden Streets.

Police took a suspect, 39-year-old Richard L. Conner, into custody at 10:35 p.m.

Conner is charged with robbery, disorderly conduct, menacing, and terroristic threatening.
