Two injured after car crashes into Lexington business

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-  Two people were taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a car crashed into a Lexington restaurant around 4:30.

Police say the car crashed into the front of Indi’s on North Broadway.

They think it happened because of a mechanical failure.

According to officers, there will be no charges and alcohol was not involved.

A lot of glass broke during the crash.

Two people inside the restaurant were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
