Body of missing Letcher County man found; 2 arrested

LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The body of a missing person was found in Letcher County and it happened just a few hours after two people were arrested.

Kentucky State Police say 41-year-old Dedra Keathley and 38-year-old Clifford Jermaine Caudill were arrested Wednesday night and charged with murder.

Investigators say it’s in connection to a missing person’s case.

According to the Mountain Eagle newspaper, the body of Ricky Gibson was found at a strip mine Thursday morning.

The newspaper says Caudill told police he and Keathley got into a fight in a bathroom with Gibson, shot him then dumped his body.
