Bluegrass Crime Stoppers looking for man in stolen vehicle incident

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Officials with Bluegrass Crime Stoppers in Lexington, are asking for your help in identifying a suspect accused of attacking officers during a stolen car investigation.

Authorities say the incident happened last Monday, February 26, after police responded to an alert about a stolen vehicle in the Red Mile Road area.

Investigators say three people, were detained after police arrived, but one of the suspects allegedly knocked two officers to the ground causing visible injury to one of the officers before running away.

“The other two have since been arrested that that were detained at the scene but of course they do not want to give any information in regards to their friends identity,” said Det. Kristyn Klingshirn.
