Henry County man convicted of 2018 murder of 22-year-old man
(WTVQ) — A Henry County man has been found guilty for the murder of a 22-year-old in 2018.
A jury found Gregory Heightchew guilty on several charges on Tuesday, including murder, arson, attempted murder, and evidence tampering.
According to court documents, in 2018, 22-year-old Elijah Creekmore was found dead inside a burned vehicle in Lockport, Kentucky, about 56 miles east of Louisville.
Heightchew was identified as the suspect by Kentucky State Police.
His sentencing is scheduled for April.
