People in Estill County neighborhood warned to stay indoors

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Irvine Police Department is asking people living in one neighborhood to stay inside and lock all their doors and windows.

According to a Facebook post by the City of Irvine, it’s because a man was seen walking into some woods on Church Street in Irvine, with handcuffs on, wearing a white shirt with orange pants on Wednesday.

Police say he is an escaped prisoner.

The city released a picture of the man, identified as Casey Myers.

Everyone in the areas of Court Street, Sweet Lick and North Madison areas is being asked to stay indoors.

Anyone who spots the man is asked to call 911.
