UPDATE: Missing Berea teen found safe in Louisville

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A missing teenager from Berea was found safe Thursday night in Louisville, according to Berea Police.

Investigators say 15-year old Amber Renae Wagers walked out of school Wednesday morning to meet someone she may have met online.

Police grew increasingly concerned when they say Wagers texted a friend asking to get help from police because she thought she was being taken to Ohio.

This case led Berea Police to remind all parents to know what kind of social media sites their children are on and how they’re interacting with people on those sites.
