Coroner identifies man hit, killed by train in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Fayette County coroner has identified the man who was hit and killed by a train in Lexington on Sunday.

Edgar Miller died of multiple blunt force injuries after the incident, Coroner Gary Ginn said.

He was 47.

The incident happened in the 4500 block of Seeger Lane yesterday.

Norfolk Southern Dispatch had called police to say their train hit a pedestrian around 4:20 p.m.

The manner of death has not yet been determined.

Police are still investigating the circumstances around the incident.
