Police find out where wandering boy lives through dog’s microchip

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington Duty Commander says a 3-year-old boy was found wandering the streets with his dog Thursday morning on Faulkner Avenue and Pierson Drive.

Police were able to locate where the boy lived by checking the dog’s microchip.

The duty commander says the boy’s dad was asleep and says the boy just started learning how to open up doors.
