Man arrested in connection to West New Circle Road shooting
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that happened Thursday morning on West New Circle in the Walmart parking lot.
According to Lexington police, Kenneth Mitchell is accused of shooting a man around 1:30 a.m. yesterday near the Walmart at 500 West New Circle Road.
He’s charged with assault, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Mitchell was found when police used the Real-Time Intelligence Center, traffic cameras and Flock license plate readers, police said.
The victim is in critical but stable condition at a local hospital.
