Coroner identifies Lexington man who died in Scott Co. crash

The man who died in the crash was identified as Jarred Davis, of Lexington, according to the Scott County coroner.

He was 36.

One person has died after a two-vehicle crash in Scott County Tuesday night.

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Leestown Road near Weisenberger Mill.

A car was heading eastbound on Leestown Road and crossed the center line, hitting another car driving westbound.

The driver of the car heading eastbound was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
