UPDATE- Golden alert canceled, Bracken County man found safe
UPDATE 4/24/18 7:00 a.m.- Police say David Reed has been found safe.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington Police have issued a golden alert for 80-year-old David Reed, who they say is missing and suffers from dementia.
Police say Reed is originally from Bracken County, but was visiting someone at a Lexington hospital the last time his family heard from him.
According to police, he was last seen at the hospital around 3 p.m. Monday, but police did not specify which hospital.
His family says he suffers from dementia and has become disoriented while driving in the past.
Reed is 6’2″ tall and 200 lbs.
He was last seen driving a blue 2005 PT Cruiser with KY license plate 641-VLC.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lexington police.
