I-75 SB at 118MM re-opens after semi-truck fire clean-up
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — All lanes of I-75 southbound at the 118-mile marker are closed until about noon Friday so officials can clean up the area after a semi-truck fire.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the saddle tank of the truck ruptured and about 200 gallons of diesel fuel spilled into an off-road ditch this morning.
Clean-up is underway.
Until about noon today, the following is in effect for I-75 SB:
- Lanes are closed at exit 118
- Traffic continues to be diverted onto I-64 WB toward Frankfort
- Traffic on I-64 remains congested between milepoints 69 and 74
