All-clear given after bomb threat at Capitol in Frankfort
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)

Lawmakers and officeholders were given the all-clear to return to the Capitol around noon, Lindstrom said.
The email, released to news media by Lindstrom, said the following:
“I placed multiple explosives inside of your State Capitol.
The explsoives are well hidden inside and they will go off in a few hours.
I will make sure you all end up dead.”
Adams, as well as many other state capitols including Mississippi, Maine, Nevada, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and more, received the same threat.
He said in a post on X he’s grateful to first responders for their work today.
Law enforcement believes this is a continuation of an ongoing swatting spree, according to ABC News.
Investigators say they’re all connected and believed to be orchestrated by people overseas.

At least one state officeholder and multiple legislative offices received bomb threats Wednesday morning.
According to Secretary of State Michael Adams, he and other lawmakers received the threats via email.
An increased police presence is currently at the Frankfort Capitol. K-9s are also on the scene.
Michon Lindstrom, Adams’ director of communications, said other SOS offices around the country received the same threat.
Gov. Andy Beshear wrote on X that everyone is safe and his office is aware of similar threats around the country.
ABC 36 has a crew heading to Frankfort.
