Appalachian Regional Healthcare to purchase Saint Joseph Martin hospital and clinics

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) and KentuckyOne Health announced Tuesday an agreement was signed for the purchase of Saint Joseph Martin and its four rural health clinics in Floyd County.

Appalachian Regional Healthcare is expected to take over operations at the facility on July 1st after the purchase closes.

The 25-bed Saint Joseph Martin hospital will operate under the new name, ARH Our Lady of the Way Hospital.

The ARH system covers communities throughout southeastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia.
