Lexington police investigating 3 vehicle thefts

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington police are investigating three vehicle thefts that all occurred Thursday morning.

The first was around 6:20 a.m. when a car was stolen from the Gleneagles Apartments complex in southeast Lexington, according to police. The stolen vehicle was described as a black, four-door sedan.

The second vehicle theft occurred at 9 a.m. at the same apartment complex. That car has since been found, but police are still searching for the suspect(s) in both cases.

A description of potential suspect(s) was not available.

At 11 a.m., police were also called to McConnells Trace neighborhood, in northwest Lexington, for a robbery. The suspect hit the victim and then stole their vehicle, police said.

The suspect in this robbery was known to the victim.

A description of this suspect was not available either.
