A man is dead after his car sinks in a pond

FLORENCE, Ky. (WTVQ)- A driver in Boone County died late Friday night when his car sunk in a pond.

Deputies say the driver, 50-year-old Bryan Hammon from Florence, drove into the pond just before 11 PM off Mount Zion Road in Union.

They’re still investigating why.
