Fire at Charlbury Ct.; only person in house gets out safe

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- One person got out safe after a fire started in their home just before 2 p.m. Friday.

Firefighters say the fire started in the kitchen at 1880 Charlbury Court and the only person in the house got out safe.

The fire department says there is smoke damage throughout the house.
