New Battery Research Lab To Move To Lexington

 Lexington has been chosen as the site for a new battery research facility that is expected to create more than 100 new jobs.
 Governor Steve Beshear announced Wednesday the NOHMs Technologies Inc. will locate its research, product development and manufacturing operations to Lexington.
 The $5.3 million dollar project is expected to create up to162 jobs.
 NOHMs Technologies has developed a battery that is based on lithium-sulfur chemistry.
 The company said the technology will revolutionize vehicle markets, including everything from spacecraft to electric automobiles.
 NOHMs will be located at the Kentucky-Argonne Battery Manufacturing Research and Development Center in Lexington.
