Owensboro man charged with sodomy and sexual abuse

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say an Owensboro man has been indicted on sodomy and sexual abuse charges.

State Police say detectives launched an investigation into 29-year-old Isaac J. Arvin in reference to sexual abuse allegations concerning a juvenile victim.

After a three-month long investigation, the case was presented to the Daviess County Grand Jury.

Arvin was arrested Thursday without incident and charged with two counts of sodomy and two counts of sexual abuse with a victim under 12 years of age.

He was booked into the Daviess County Detention Center with a $100,000 bond.
