Pulaski County deputies are searching for an “armed and dangerous” suspect accused of shooting three people, killing two of them, on Tuesday night.
Austin Prather, 20, allegedly shot and killed his grandfather and father, and shot and stabbed his grandmother on Raleigh Road around 11:47 p.m. in Science Hill.
Prather fled the scene in a 2013 brown Jeep Wrangler, Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones told ABC 36.
An arrest warrant charging Prather with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder will be out later this morning, Jones added.
If you see Prather, you’re asked to call 911 immediately. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
The victims were identified as Ardyth Prather, Jr., 67; and Ardyth Prather III, 43.
The grandmother was taken to a hospital in Lexington for treatment. Her condition is unknown at this time.
