FCPS teachers participate in walk-ins

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – At least 17 schools across Fayette County are participating in a walk-ins demanding full funding for public education Thursday.

This is in response to the controversial pension reform bill signed by Governor Bevin this week and his veto of a spending bill many teachers thought was necessary to fund public education in the state.

This will go on all day with the first walk-in starting at 6:45 a.m. at Picadome Elementary and the last one at 5 p.m. at Breckenridge Elementary School.

Henry Clay High
James Lane Allen Elem.
Lansdowne Elem.

Picadome Elem.
SCAPA
Southern Elem.
Squires Elem.
Winburn Middle
