Lexington police investigating a stabbing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are still investigating a stabbing Saturday morning that also involved shots fired. Police say around 6:30 Saturday morning a homeowner on High Ridge Drive said his girlfriends had some friends over.

He told officers he only knew them by nickname, but they were two men, a 30-year-old and a 55-year-old.

They got into an argument about money.

One reportedly stabbed the other.

Police also found some shots had been fired in the parking lot.

Officers say they found some shell casings, a car with bullet holes and some blood from the stabbing.

No one has shown up at the hospital with a stab wound, though.
