UPDATE: Victim of Montgomery County fatal crash name released

UPDATE: MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Montgomery County Coroner has identified the victim as 23-year-old Jessica Havens of Powell County.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) A two-vehicle crash in Montgomery County has left one woman dead.

The crash happened at around 7:50 a.m. Thursday on KY HWY 213 South and involved a passenger car and a tow truck.

According to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, the 23-year-old driver of the passenger car was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling where she was pronounced dead.

The name of the victim has not been released.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
