100 Women – Women’s Advocacy Organization

100 Women is a women’s donor and advocacy organization supporting ten non-profits that serve women and family needs in the Lexington area. Supported agencies include Arbor Youth Services, CASA, Greenhouse 17, Chrysalis House and others. Through annual dues, the members raise funds to distribute yearly to these agencies. Over the past four years, they have provided more than $300,000 of much-needed support. All members are volunteers; there are no administrative expenses. We welcomed Kathy Plomin and Penny Warren to the show to describe the impact this organization has on the Bluegrass.
