Sweet 16 – Day 2 recap

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It started with Campbell County punching its first ticket to the boys’ Elite 8 in program history.

The Camels were 0-5 in the Sweet 16 before taking down University Heights at Rupp Arena on day two of action Thursday.

Fern Creek needed overtime to dispatch of Boyd County to close out the early session.

It was Oldham County coming back from down 13 to top McCracken County to tip off the night session and Covington Catholic in a romp over Apollo to close things out.
