Funeral services announced for fallen Pikeville officer

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Visitation and funeral services are set for a Pikeville police officer killed in the line of duty Tuesday.

There will be two visitations for Scotty Hamilton.

The first will be held on Friday, March 16 at 5 p.m. at the East Kentucky Expo Center at 126 Main Street in Pikeville

A second visitation will be Saturday, March 17 at 5 p.m. at the same location.

Hamilton’s funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m., also at the East Kentucky Expo Center.

He will be buried at Pikeville City Cemetery.

A trust fund has been set up for the family, in lieu of flowers.
