LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- City crews say they are prepared for this weekend’s forecasted snow and bad weather.
The Division of Streets & Roads and Water Quality will be out treating all main roads Friday.
The Division of Streets and Roads says all crew members are on-call for the weekend to help with snow removal from streets and sidewalks.
Officials urge caution while driving and to be aware of potential slick areas on roads, sidewalks and driveways.
Due to forecasted low temperatures, the Office of Homelessness Prevention and Intervention has also extended their OHPI Emergency Weather Plan to Friday, March 16 to allow for expanded shelter services and free transportation to shelters.
