Ky Derby Museum’s star mini horse retires
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) — Winston, the Kentucky Derby Museum’s star miniature horse, is retiring after 22 years of service.
Winston will be spending the rest of his years at Old Friends, the Thoroughbred retirement farm based in Georgetown.
The miniature horse had one final trip through the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, before heading to his new home Monday.
Old Friends had a welcoming celebration for Winston’s arrival.
