Booneville man arrested following stabbing

BOONEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Booneville man is in jail accused of stabbing another man in Owsley County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say it happened around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Kentucky 30 East, outside of Booneville.

53-year old Ronnie Duff, is charged with assault, according to investigators.

He’s lodged in the Three Forks Regional Jail. 

The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was airlifted to UK Hospital in Lexington.  No condition was available.
