US 25/ Richmond Road widening project to start next week

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Motorists are asked to prepare for road work that will impact traffic starting Monday, February 19th.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announced that work will begin on the US 25/Richmond Road widening project next week.

The location of the project will begin at Ellipse Street, around mile marker 4.64, continue to Glades Road and extend to the Berea Bypass, near mile marker 5.86.

The anticipated completion date for the widening is June 30, 2019.

The project will include an improved roadway, sidewalks and bicycle paths.
