Coroner: Woman found in driveway possible homicide victim

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says the death of a woman found in the driveway of a Lexington home is being investigated as a possible homicide.

“Unexpected. Last thing I would have thought to have happened,” neighbor Ben Riley said describing the scene.

Lexington Police say someone called them before noon to say a woman was lying in the driveway at the home on Leslie Drive.

They say officers arrived and found the woman dead.

Police say the woman is 67-years-old.

“All my interactions have been great. When my son was born, they checked in on us,” says neighbor Ben Riley describing the victim.

Her name has not been released.
