Woman killed in crash in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A London woman is dead following an accident in Laurel County.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office say the accident happened on Thursday at around 1 p.m. on Marydell Road.

Deputies believe the car 89-year-old Geneva June Creek was driving went off the road and hit a tree.

She was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Deputies say she was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
