Snow covered roads in eastern Kentucky

LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Some roads in eastern and southeastern Kentucky were snow-covered and slick Thursday night, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The state sent out a photo from US 23 in Letcher County showing one example of a snow-covered route.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and stopping distance.
