LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One plus one equals two.  Let’s start there.  In hockey, there’s the “hockey assist” stat.  It’s the pass before the assist; the setup, you could say.

Those passes are just as important as the one that actually goes down in the box score.

But what if you’re having so much trouble passing the ball you have to start counting every single pass as an assist?

Well, UK”s assist to turnover ratio has been awful in SEC play so that’s what Cal’s instituting now.
