Victim of Berea stabbing identified

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim of a Tuesday stabbing in Berea as 43-year-old Jay Drake.

Police say around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an assault in the 100 block of Dinsmore Street.

They found Drake had been stabbed and had severe injuries. Madison County EMS took him to the hospital, where he died.

Officers arrested 40-year-old Ricky Arvin. He is charged with murder.
