Fatal crash in Madison Co.

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Madison County man is found dead after a crash on Union County Road Friday, according to the Madison County coroner.

The coroner says after arriving at the scene at 2:30 a.m., he found 60-year-old Bobby Epps dead in his car. He says Epps had hit a tree.

Epps had left his home around 12:30 in the morning but wasn’t discovered until a couple hours later, according to the coroner. He says the engine was cold when he arrived.

The coroner tells ABC 36 News the crash could be weather-related since it was foggy when he arrived at the scene.

The crash is under investigation, which will include an autopsy.
