Wreck in Anderson County injures one

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – An accident in Anderson County has left one person injured.

According to the Anderson County Fire Department, a utility truck overturned just before 3:30 p.m. on Bypass Lane in Lawrenceburg.

Crews from four fire stations responded to the scene.

Firefighters had to cut one person out of the truck.

He was taken to the hospital in Frankfort.

There is no word on his injuries.

The Anderson County Fire Department says the accident was weather related. Firefighters say the roads were slick from the rain and it was starting to get icy.
